Editorial Policy

Sources

DevWorkstation Notes builds its articles from primary and reputable public sources: government programs, standards bodies, universities, manufacturer documentation and established open-source projects. Retail listings, forum posts and anonymous claims are not used as sources.

Citations

Every claim is linked to its source in the sentence that makes it, with link text that names the organization or document. Figures in diagrams come from the cited sources, and the source is named under each diagram.

Checking and corrections

Sources are re-checked regularly. Dead links are replaced with a working source or removed together with the claim they supported. When a source changes, the article is corrected to match it.

How articles are written

Text is drafted with software assistance and checked against its sources before publication. Articles are published under the site name; the site does not invent authors.

Independence

The site carries no sponsored content, no affiliate links and no ads, and no company pays for coverage or for a link.
